Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-19 · Effective: 2026-04-22
This Cookie Policy explains how Neonworks Consulting Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on https://twendie.com and within the Service. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixel tags. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this Policy.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Service to function, such as authenticating sessions, preventing CSRF attacks, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cookies are always on; they cannot be switched off.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. All this category ever adds is the ability to recognise a repeat visit as the same person; we count usage either way.
Where the law requires us to ask first, which is the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, our analytics run without storing anything on your device until you allow it: page views are counted for the current visit only and no identifier outlives the browser tab. Elsewhere the requirement is that you can opt out rather than that we ask first, so a returning-visitor identifier is set by default and the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer turns it off.
We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, no returning-visitor identifier is stored, wherever you are, unless you later allow it here yourself.
We do not sell your data, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share analytics data with advertising networks.
Marketing
We do not currently set marketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this Policy and show a consent option in the banner before setting any.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Cookie | Strictly necessary | Keeps a signed-in session on server-rendered pages and the admin area. | Session | twendie.com |
| csrftoken | Cookie | Strictly necessary | Prevents cross-site request forgery on form submissions. | 12 months | twendie.com |
| tw_region | Cookie | Strictly necessary | Records whether you are visiting from a region where consent must be requested, so the banner appears only where it is required. | 12 hours | twendie.com |
| auth_token, current_user | Local storage | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the dashboard between visits. | Until you sign out | twendie.com |
| theme | Local storage | Strictly necessary | Remembers your light or dark appearance choice. | Until cleared | twendie.com |
| twendie_cookie_consent | Local storage | Strictly necessary | Remembers your choices here so we do not ask again. | Until cleared | twendie.com |
| twendie_attribution_v1 | Session storage | Analytics | Records which link or campaign first brought you here, so a signup is credited to the right source. Used where consent is required and you have not yet given it, so the record lasts only for this visit. | Current session | twendie.com |
| twendie_attribution_v1 | Local storage | Analytics | The same first-touch record, kept across visits. Used by default outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and anywhere once you allow analytics storage. | Until cleared | twendie.com |
| ph_* | Local storage | Analytics | Recognises a returning visitor so repeat visits are counted as one person rather than several. Set by default outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and anywhere once you allow analytics storage. Where it is not set we still count usage, anonymously and without storing anything on your device. | 12 months | PostHog |
The list above covers cookies we set on our own domain. Third-party services, such as integrated maps or embedded content, may set their own cookies when loaded.
4. Managing your preferences
You can change your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, which reopens the panel wherever you are.
The consent banner is shown automatically to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where the law requires us to ask before storing anything that is not strictly necessary. Elsewhere we do not interrupt you with it, because there is nothing to ask about until you opt in: analytics run without device storage unless you turn it on from the footer link above.
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent core Service features from working.
For more information on cookies generally, see allaboutcookies.org.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date and, where required, in the cookie banner.
