Refund & Subscription Terms
Last updated: 2026-04-22
This page sets out how subscriptions to Twendie are billed, renewed, and cancelled, and when refunds are available. It is part of our Terms of Service. If a written Order Form between you and Neonworks Consulting Limited says something different, the Order Form controls.
1. Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are offered on monthly or annual plans. The plan, price, and included usage limits are shown at checkout or on your Order Form.
- Fees are charged in advance for each billing period (monthly on the billing anniversary, or annually for annual plans).
- Usage-based or add-on charges (for example, additional credits or seats) are billed in arrears in the billing period after they accrue.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes. We will add applicable taxes (including Kenya VAT where applicable) to your invoice.
- You are responsible for keeping your payment method current. Failed payments may result in suspension after reasonable notice.
2. Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew for successive terms equal to the original term (monthly for monthly plans, yearly for annual plans) unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal fees are charged to the payment method on file at the then-current price.
We will give you at least 30 days written notice before any increase to renewal fees for your plan.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings (Billing → Cancel plan) or by emailing support@twendie.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
4. Refunds
- Monthly plans: fees for the current month are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future months from being charged.
- Annual plans: you may request a pro-rata refund for unused complete months of an annual term by contacting support@twendie.com within 30 days after cancelling. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- EU/UK consumer cooling-off: where applicable consumer law grants a cooling-off right (typically 14 days after purchase), you may withdraw from the subscription for a full refund. If you asked us to start providing the Service during the cooling-off period, you may be charged for usage up to the date of withdrawal.
- Downgrades: if you downgrade mid-term, the new price applies on the next billing period; we do not refund the difference for the current period unless required by law.
- Service unavailability: if we experience a material Service outage caused by us and not resolved within a reasonable time, contact us and we will apply a reasonable service credit toward a future invoice.
- Disputed charges: please contact us first at support@twendie.com so we can resolve the issue promptly, before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer.
5. Free trials and promotional credits
Free trials and promotional credits are offered at our discretion, are limited to one per Customer (unless stated otherwise), may not be combined with other offers, and have no cash value. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the then-current price.
6. Price changes
We may change prices for future billing periods. For paying Customers, we will give at least 30 days notice before a price change affects your plan, so you can cancel or adjust before the new price applies.
7. Termination by us
We may terminate or suspend a subscription in line with our Terms of Service. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any pre-paid unused fees on a pro-rata basis. If we terminate for your material breach, pre-paid fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
